Human Resources Manager
The City of Joliet is seeking a highly qualified candidate to manage the Human Resources Division and be responsible for all human resources programs, including job classification, compensation, benefits, training, selection and recruitment processes, worker’s compensation, labor/employee relations and other related functions. A bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Public Administration, Business or related field and a minimum seven years of experience and current PHR certification are required. Latent Fingerprint Examiner
The City of Joliet is seeking a qualified candidate responsible for the classification, coding, comparison and record maintenance of the Joliet Police Department Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS). Will assist in the property management of the evidence vault and manage the Department’s digital property management system, evidence management and bar code systems. Process physical evidence, perform crime scene searches and process court requests. Must be certified as a latent print examiner by the International Association for Identification (IAI). The City of Joliet has limited opportunities for unpaid internships for college students. The internship request will only be considered with the following conditions: the assignment will satisfy school requirements for completion of specific course work or graduation in a field relevant to public administration; and whether the City has an appropriate work assignment, dependent upon the student’s educational major.
